I’m a multi-passionate creative, middle-aged first-time mama, impostor syndrome warrior, cheeseburger, cake and Korean BBQ connoisseur, confessional journaler, second-hand shop scavenger, deep dive conversationalist and the CEO and creative director at Dear Handmade Life. My desire to help other creatives pursue their dream business and discover the joy of making led me away from my own handmade business and into teaching, consulting, running my own workshop studio and eventually co-founding Dear Handmade Life in 2007.

My name is Isis Blackstock and I am the one woman show behind the scene. Little Pieces Jewelry strives to be uniquely designed and quality made statement jewelry. It is bold yet elegant for the modern day woman to wear everyday. Each Piece is hand made so no two will ever be exactly the same, making each design perfect pieces of art to adorn your body. When I don’t have my hands covered with clay I am running around with my two adventurous little boys. MEET GWAPA GAL: CLAUDIA MELTON

My name is Claudia, a yorkshire-based animator/illustrator and the founder of Chunkyresin! I started Chunkyresin following a puppet casting workshop at university that fascinated me, and I wanted to learn more about it - and accidentally started a small business! I've been running it since mid 2018, exploring my love for primary colours, geometric shapes, and a good pink/red combo, making earrings and home accessories.
